General guide for staff to access EMR training
RPL is awarded to doctors who have had previous Cerner EMR experience in Victoria. Unfortunately, interstate or overseas experience in a Cerner EMR, or a different EMR such as EPIC, is not considered comparable, due to the differences in build and localisations between settings. If you qualify for RPL, you will only need to do the abbreviated RPL online program, to get familiarised with Northern specific workflows.
In order to see if you qualify for RPL please complete the survey via the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/UVSwn9qZYE
Once approved for RPL, you will only need to do the abbreviated RPL online program. The course links are:

If you don’t qualify for RPL, the eLearning modules can also be accessed on LMS by selecting the appropriate course following the pathway: Go to: My learning > Select preferred course – Eg. PowerChart: Doctor > eLearning Modules.
The course will be split into multiple parts. It takes approx. 25-40 mins to complete all parts.
